Legacy, cultivation, and passion define Grgich Hills Estate. Miljenko “Mike” Grgich helped put Napa Valley on the map when his Chardonnay won first place in the “Paris Tasting” of 1976. Fast-forward to today, and Grgich Hills Estate is world-renowned winery in the heart of Napa Valley attracting visitors and wine lovers alike.
Grgich Hills Estate required a website that seamlessly integrated their existing winery management system, Advanced Management Systems (AMS). The website forced users to leave the website too often in order to complete purchases or book tastings and events. Grgich Hills also needed an improved user flow and to display their history in an interactive way.
A new website was built on a user-friendly platform allowing us to completely customize every aspect of the website without being limited by the winery management system. We worked closely with AMS to create the perfect online solution – an integration with WooCommerce. Users can now shop online and reserve tastings without feeling like they left the website or lost their place. WooCommerce allows for complete marketing efforts to drive online sales. A mega menu makes it easy for navigate the website and various timelines display the rich history of this iconic winery.
The homepage creates a visual journey for users and gives them access to important links such as the shop pages, tasting room, and about page.
